History & Culture
Cambodia has a long, proud, and at times tragic history. Evidence of people farming in the area date back to around 2,300BC with stone tools being recorded in 1,500BC. Major civilizations started to come in around 150AD along the Mekong River.
The dry season from around November to February are the most popular months to visit Cambodia. It’s much cooler in the days and evenings during this time and it’s the busiest time of year as most people prefer to come. The rainy season shouldn’t put you off visiting Cambodia.
No visit to Cambodia is complete without first visiting the Angkor temples. Angkor Wat is the temple everyone wants to see and it’s the largest and most magnificent of all the temples built by the ancient Angkor. However, it’s not the only temple to see.
