Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City

Activities: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City

Meals: None

Itinerary: Welcome to Vietnam! On the first day of this tour, guests will arrive in the bustling Ho Chi Minh City where they will be met by their guide and transferred to their hotel.

Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City

Activities: Visit Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating Market

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Early this morning, our guests will set out to visit the Mekong Delta.  On arrival, guests will transfer from minivan to to boat to prepare to cruise along the river to visit the Cai Be Floating Market.  After floating along and buying goodies from local vendors, the tour will take guests to Bin Hoa Phuoc Islet where our travelers will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of bonsai gardening from the local farmers.  After eating a homemade, traditional lunch, guests will return to Ho Chi Minh City for the evening.

Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang

Activities: Visit Cu Chi Tunnels

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Today guests will start the day by exploring the famous Cu Chi Tunnels.  This extensive network of tunnels was made famous during the Vietnam War as the place where the Viet Cong based many of their campaigns and operations.  After exploring the tunnels, guests will take a short flight to Da Nang.

Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 4: Da Nang

Activities: Visit My Son Sanctuary

Meals: Breakfast

Itinerary: After breakfast in Da Nang, guests will pay a visit to the My Son Sanctuary near Hoi An.  My Son is the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom and is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, partly due to the many legends and stories surrounding the history of the area.  After the tour, guests will return to Da Nang and have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 5: Da Nang | Hoi An

Activities: Explore Hoi An

Meals: Breakfast

Itinerary: After breakfast at the hotel, guests will travel to the city of Hoi An where they will have the opportunity to order a tailor-made item of clothing – something the city is famous for!  Afterwards, enjoy a walking tour of the quiet and relaxed city that is always a favorite among tourists.  Absorb the interesting culture that has been influenced by Vietnam, China, and Japan throughout history and enjoy the gorgeous views from the ancient houses.  The tour will also stop at Hoi An’s Museum, Assembly Halls of Chinese Influence, a handicraft workshop, and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge.

Day 6: Hoi An

Activities: Foodie Tour

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast, guests will set out on bicycles to explore the surrounding countryside and the delicious delicacies that are prepared there. From different noodles, to different vegetables and Yin and Yang foods, everyone’s tastebuds will be satisfied! This tour is an excellent insight into authentic Vietnam.

Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An | Da Nang | Hanoi

Activities: Travel to Hanoi | Sightseeing in Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast

Itinerary: Today guests will transfer back to Da Nang for their flight to the beautiful capital city of Hanoi.  After checking in to the hotel, our eager travelers will visit the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Jade Mountain Temple, But Tower, Dai Nghien, The Red, and the Huc Bridge.  After this busy day, we will all settle in for a good night’s sleep.

Day 8: Hanoi | Ha Long Bay

Activities: Junk Cruise through Ha Long Bay

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Itinerary: Today, guests will travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay.  Upon arrival at the bay, guests will board a boat to take an overnight cruise through the gorgeous area.  The cruise will provide us with fantastic views of the beautiful emerald-green waters and the sheer limestone cliffs and caves.  Guests will also have opportunities to swim and explore the caves and grottos on foot.

Day 9: Ha Long Bay | Hanoi

Activities: Travel back to Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast on the boat, guests will have more time to relax, swim, and sunbathe.  The tour will then have lunch and travel back to Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi

Activities: Departure

Meals: Breakfast

Itinerary: Sadly, our tour ends today.  Guests will have free time for last minute exploring and shopping before saying their goodbyes to their new friends and heading to the airport to continue on to their next destination. The tour may be over, but the memories will last a lifetime!
