Day 1: Hanoi
Activities: Arrival in Hanoi – City tour of Hanoi
Meals: Dinner
Itinerary: Upon arrival in Hanoi, guests will meet their guide at the airport and be transferred to their hotel for check in. Shortly after, guests will take a cycling tour of the city to visit sites such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Pagoda, the famous Old Quarter, and the Temple of Literature. In the evening, there will be a briefing of the tour given by your tour guides at dinner before the group transfers to the train station for an overnight ride to Lao Cai.

Day 2: Lao Cai | Sapa
Activities: Cycling through Matra – Explore Sapa
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: The train will arrive in Lao Cai early in the morning. Guests will enjoy breakfast followed by an easy ride through the villages of Matra and discovering some of the local culture before continuing to Sapa and spending the rest of the day browsing the bustling markets in the city.

Day 3: Sapa | Lai Chau
Activities: Cycling through Heaven’s Gate and Hoang Lien Son National Park – Picnic lunch in Than Uyen Valley
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: After a hearty breakfast, guests will set out on a challenging ride through Heaven’s Gate, the highest pass in Northern Vietnam. The views of Indochina’s highest peak, Mt. Fanispan, make the challenge totally worth it as the tour rides through Hoang Lien Son National Park. The first leg of today’s journey will end with a rewarding descent to Than Uyen Valley where the group will enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing through the beautiful surroundings to the town of Lai Chau.

Day 4: Lai Chau | Muong Lay
Activities: Cycle to Muong Lay
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: Today guests will cycle approximately 100km through steep inclines and lovely declines on their way to Muong Lay enjoying the gorgeous scenery on the way.

Day 5: Muong Lay | Dien Bien Phu
Activities: Cycle along Na river – Explore Dien Bien Phu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: Today, guests will cycle along the Na River and the lush surrounding landscapes on their way to Dien Bien Phu, a city famous of an amazing Vietnamese victory over the French.

Day 6: Dien Bien Phu | Tuan Giao
Activities: Cycle to Tuan Giao – Explore Tuan Giao
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: After a couple of difficult days of cycling, guests will enjoy some respite on today’s easy ride through the quiet back roads and picturesque landscapes on their way to the town of Tuan Giao.

Day 7: Tuan Giao | Son La
Activities: Cycle to Son La – Visit Thuan Chau – Explore Son La
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: Keep your cameras easily accessible today as the ride to Son La will offer some of the most stunning views of the entire journey. On the way to Son La, the tour will cycle through the town of Thuan Chau which is home to the White Hmong people.

Day 8: Son La | Moc Chau
Activities: Cycle to Moc Chau – Lunch in Yen Chau – Explore Moc Chau
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: Today’s ride will start with an ascent through terraced rice paddies with gorgeous limestone cliffs in the background – another leg of the journey that offers truly spectacular views. The tour will stop for lunch in Yen Chau before continuing to Moc Chau, a lovely town famous for milk cake and tea.

Day 9: Moc Chau | Mai Chau
Activities: Cycle to Mai Chau – Homestay in Pom Coong
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: Today, guests will enjoy a relaxing downhill ride through tea plantations and beautiful peach orchards. Enjoy cycling along quiet and peaceful roads and through small villages populated by Thai minorities. This evening, guests will enjoy an authentically Vietnamese experience during a homestay in Pom Coong.

Day 10: Mai Chau | Hoa Binh | Hanoi
Activities: Cycle to Hoa Binh City – Drive back to Hanoi – Farewell dinner
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: As our journey nears its end, guests will coast along the roads to the town of Muongkhen and on to Hoa Binh City where they will enjoy a local lunch. Afterwards, they will trade in their bikes for an air-conditioned car and enjoy a relaxing drive back to Hanoi where they will have the rest of the day to spend precious time with new friends and explore the rest of Hanoi before a wonderful farewell dinner.

Day 11: Hanoi
Activities: Departure
Meals: Breakfast
Itinerary: On the last day of the tour, guests will say their sad goodbyes, take their final pictures, and continue on to their next destinations.
