Family Mountain and Beach Adventure – 6 Days/5 Nights

Description: Pack your bags and prepare yourselves for the trip of a lifetime! On this tour, families will travel throughout Thailand. The tour will start in Bangkok before travelling north to spend time in Chiang Mai and the surrounding areas, afterwards, families will fly south and spend 5 nights on the beautiful island of Koh Yao. Along the way, guests will experience local culture, learn how to cook Thai specialties, enjoy off-road experiences like kayaking and cycling, and enjoy plenty of time just relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 1: Bangkok
Activities: Check into the hotel.
Meals: Dinner at hotel
Itinerary: On the first day guests will arrive in Bangkok, welcome by local guide and trasfer to hotel and check into their hotel.
Overnight stay in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Itinerary: After breakfast, a personal guide will meet the family for a tailor-made tour of the amazing city of Bangkok. Travelling by car, river taxi, or skytrain, the tour will guide you through the different historical and cultural aspects of the city; from bartering in the markets to learning about the expansive history of Thailand to tasting local food.
If different family members have different interests, more than one tour guide will be provided to suit the needs of each individual.
Overnight stay in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Itinerary: On the third day, guests will head out of the city center to the Mae Klong River where locals sell their wares at the famous floating markets. The tour will take you along the river in a long-tail boat where guests can shop to their hearts’ content! Afterwards, the tour will take you on an easy 30km, child-friendly bike ride through the gorgeous surroundings.
Overnight stay in Bangkok.
Day 4: Chiang Mai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Itinerary: Leaving Bangkok early in the morning, guests will take a short flight north to Chiang Mai. For the more adventurous families, it is possible to take an overnight 4 berth sleeper train to Chiang Mai instead of flying.
Upon arrival, families will be met by a tour guide who will take them on a tour of this slower-paced, relaxed city.

Day 5: Chiang Mai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Itinerary: Enjoying Thai food? Today guests will learn how to cook various Thai specialties at a local cooking school. Prior to cooking, chefs will take families to experience the bustling markets to collect the different ingredients needed for their dishes.
Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.
Day 6: Chiang Mai
Activities: Elephant rescue center.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Itinerary: Guests will visit a rescue center for elephants in a beautiful, forested valley.
Tonight the guests will have farewell dinner at local restaurant and say goodbye to their team, guide, driver or any support staff.
Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.
