Description: Lying just west of Thailand, Laos, and China is the untouched gem of Southeast Asia, Myanmar. Come join Adventure Asia on this unique tour of the country as we explore Myanmar by boat. Starting in Kwathaung, this tour will take guests on a luxurious cruise through a cluster of 800 remote islands. Along the way, the tour will visit beautiful white sand beaches, a national park, and the tour will help guests to understand the lifestyles, cultures, and traditions of the locals. Discover true relaxation on this cruise and don’t forget to take advantage of the many opportunities for snorkeling, scuba diving, and discovering the amazing marine life that resides in the waters of the Mergui Archipelago.

Day 1: Kwathaung | Barwell Island
Activities: Cruise to Barwell Island
Meals: Dinner
Itinerary: On the first day of this luxurious tour, guests will meet in the port city of Kwathaung where they will board the boat to cruise to Barwell Island. After relaxing on the beach for a few hours, the group will reconvene for dinner and drinks.
Overnight stay docked at Barwell Island.
Day 2: Barwell Island | Island No. 115 | Mid Group Islands
Activities: Cruise to Island No. 115 and Mid Group Islands | Dinghy ride to mangrove forest
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: After a relaxing first day, guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast on board before we begin our journey to Island No. 115 and then onto a small group of islands known as the Mid Group. From here, guests will disembark for a dinghy ride to a mangrove forest on the nearby Island No. 88. After relaxing on the beach, guests will enjoy dinner together.
Overnight stay onboard.
Day 3: Mid Group Islands | Nyaung Wee Island | Great Swinton Island
Activities: Visit Nyaung Wee Island and sea gypsy settlement – Cruise to Great Swinton Island
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: On our third day together, the boat will sail towards a small island village called Nyaung Wee where guests will have the opportunity to visit a sea gypsy settlement. After eating lunch, the tour will continue west, sailing to Great Swinton Island where guests will disembark for an amazing jungle walk and a visit to the nearby monastery. Later in the day, guests will have an opportunity to go for a swim or even go snorkeling! This will be followed by dinner and drinks onboard as we admire the bioluminescent plankton in the water.

Day 4: Great Swinton Island | Ohway Island | Jar Lann Kyun
Activities: Cruise to Ohway Island – Snorkeling & Fishing – Cruise to Jar Lann Kyun – Hornbill watching
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: From Great Swinton Island, our boat will take us to Ohway Island for the best snorkeling and fishing in the area. Guests will thoroughly enjoy their morning amidst the colorful marine life and tropical fish that swim through these crystal blue waters. After lunch, the boat will take us to Jar Lann Kyun where guests can marvel at one of the most spectacular bodies of water in and around Myanmar. We will watch for hornbills as the sun goes down and, later, enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day 5: Jar Lann Kyun | Rhino Island | Za Det Nge Island
Activities: Cruise to Rhino Island and Za Det Nge Island
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Itinerary: Today guests will enjoy a long sail to the beautiful Za Det Nge Island, stopping to explore Rhino island along the way. In the evening, guests will meet for a final dinner party on the beach for one last hurrah.

Day 6: Za Det Nge Island | Kawthaung
Activities: Cruise back to Kawthaung
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Itinerary: Sadly, the sixth day brings us to the end of our tour. Guests will cruise back to Kawthaung and enjoy a delicious lunch along the way. Once back on dry land, guests will say their goodbyes and continue on to their next destination.
